Scheduling jobs, building your pool & state sponsorship

1. Create your firm account

1. 1Go to depodispatch.com/signup and choose Court reporting firm.
2. 2Sign in — the same email & password works across the whole DepoDepot suite (depodepot.co).
3. 3Fill out Dashboard → Settings: firm profile, phone, billing email.

2. Schedule a deposition

1. 1Open Dashboard → Jobs → New job.
2. 2Enter the case, deponent, date/time, and location. Add services as needed — legal video, interpreter, realtime, steno-only.
3. 3Submit. The cascade takes over: your job is offered to reporters in tiers — your own pool (subscribers) or the state sponsor's pool first, then the wider network, expanding by distance (25 → 50 → 100 miles → statewide) until someone accepts.
4. 4When a reporter accepts, you're notified immediately; the job shows who's covering it. You can also assign a job directly to one of your own providers instead of waiting for the cascade.

Jobs that change date or location automatically re-run the cascade; jobs nobody accepts expire once the final tier window lapses.

3. Build your reporter pool

1. 1Dashboard → Reporters shows join requests from independent reporters, videographers, and interpreters — approve the ones you work with.
2. 2Dashboard → Providers lets you add your in-house reporters and staff — create their account directly (they get a temporary password) or send an email invite.
3. 3Prefer to accept and assign yourself? Turn on Settings → Route new-job alerts to firm admins only — your members stop getting availability blasts; you accept, assign, and the assigned person gets an "assigned to you" notice.

4. Free vs. Subscriber

The free plan posts jobs into the shared cascade. The Subscriber plan ($99/mo — free until October 4, 2026 as a launch special) sends every job you submit to your own reporter pool first, exclusively, plus block-list controls and preferred-reporter ordering. Manage it under Dashboard → Subscription.

5. State sponsorship — 2 spots per state

Every state has exactly two sponsor positions: one Court Reporter sponsor and one Legal Video sponsor. The sponsor's pool gets Tier-1 priority on every open-network job in that state — first look, before anyone else. Spots are granted by application and pricing is being finalized.
